Surgery Success 01272024

Yours truly is now the recipient of a very healthy kidney! Surgery was a bit rough, and my throat and lungs are sore from the intubation and respirator.  The wound is tender, and now I have to focus on kick-starting my digestive system after the anesthesia. Thank you for all the well wishes!

 Looks like I'm getting a kidney, guys!

I'll be out for surgery at the end of this month, and I'll be out of commission for at least a month.  I hope to be able to update the blog from the hospital, but in case I can't - I'll try to get ahead of the uploads for the month of February.  

Just wanted to give you all a heads-up!
