I saw a local artist do some quick-minute scribbles and place them on some nice card stock. She was selling the pack of 15 for about $17.00!!! I couldn't believe it. And not only were the cards small, but the scribbles looked like they were done in a hurry, and like there wasn't much to them. I guess it's all in the packaging. Whatever the deal, I saw the perfect opportunity to get in on the action and make a buck to help pay with the bills.
I'm making my cards different by taking a good while to do each drawing. I don't know that I'll be able to do 15 drawings, but I'm just going to start with one and go from there. Rather than have folks dish out all that money for some cards, I thought I'd sell them in packs of five. (Maybe five of the same drawings, or maybe a bundle of five different drawings.) I'll figure it out when I get ready to sell the cards.
